Biography
Noguchi, born in 1978, graduated
from Tokyo National University of Fine Art and Music in 2001.
Since his graduation he has worked on numerous visual art and
architectural projects such as "Art Cross." In that
project he combined his architectural, interior design and
visual art skills by gutting a Tokyo Bay fishing boat and temporarily
transforming it into a traditional Japanese style cafe. Other
projects included work on "F2," a popular television
program, for which he made household furniture using items
bought only from a 100 yen shop. Noguchi has
collaborated on projects with musicians including Cornielus
and Naotaro Moriyama, as well as comedian Sakamoto-chan. While
at University, he won both the Ataka and Ikuo Hirayama Prizes.
His works have been included in the Public Collection at the
Tokyo National University of Arts and Music.
