Biography
Marcel Schobel
b.1976; Bregenz, Austria
Herr Schobel completed his post-graduate studies at the University of Arts, Berlin, where he currently works and lives. He works in experimental video, photography and digital media. His work has been shown at various experimental and avant-garde film festivals including the International Kortfilmfestival, Leuven (2006) and the International Animation Festival, Riga (2006). He has been invited to participate in upcoming festivals Imagina, Monaco (2007); Nemo Film Festival, Paris (2007); and Crossing Europe Festival, Graz (2007). In 2006, Herr Schobel received the Annual Award at the Media Arts Salzburg for his Live Cinema Performance Schnitzel with Noodles and Crisp Apple Strudel
