Nakaochiai Gallery proudly presents the works of brothers Kazumasa & Jiro Noguchi. The Noguchi brothers have joined up to form “the Magical Brothers”, what they call a ‘singular personality’ manufacturing “a magical blend of a new taste of art”.
Kazumasa’s solo show, Small Impact at the Nakaochiai Gallery in 2005, covered the entire space with a continuous blue line; in 2006, Coffee Drawing filled the gallery space with the smell of coffee; and in 2007, he and his brother will be addressing the space not through line or sense of smell, but as a solid 3D form. “My artwork always covers something. This time it is going to be solid, silver and white. I am interested in the Tohoku area in Hokkaido, Japan. In the winter season, the area is just white.”
